Grand Bahamians are falling in love with the ‘Waff-Wich’ – one of the latest creations new to Sabor Restaurant & Bar in Freeport.
The waffle-inspired meal is the brainchild of Head Chef Emmanuel Smith, who said the concept was created with his customer’s taste buds in mind.
“The concept combined the culinary duo of Wine and Waffles with a dining experience featuring the best that Sabor has to offer on a Wednesday,” Smith said.
The popular restaurant and bar teamed up with Grand Bahama’s Chamber of Commerce (GBCC), to host the event last Wednesday.
“We decided to make it a Women’s event and play off the ‘W’ theme,” GBCC’s Permanent Secretary Mercynth Ferguson said.
“We knew it was a fun idea but were so pleased that so many working women wanted to attend.
“The idea of hosting right after work, on the beautiful floating dock was also key to the attendance and everyone knows Chef Emmanuel won’t disappoint.”
